In short: Sidre is free and provided as is. Ask a scholar on religious matters, confirm the Qibla where possible, and keep your own backups — your data stays with you.

1. Acceptance

By using the Sidre app or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The service

Sidre is a free app offering a dhikr counter, tasbihat, statistics, reminders and a Qibla compass. It has no accounts, ads or in-app purchases and works fully offline. The app is provided “as is”; features may change or be removed without notice.

3. Religious content

The dhikrs, their meanings and notes are prepared with care, and hadith references are drawn only from sahih and hasan narrations. Even so, Sidre does not issue religious rulings (fatwas) and is no substitute for a scholar. If you notice a mistake, please tell us; we will verify and correct it.

4. Limits of accuracy

5. Your data and backups

All data is stored only on your device; none of it ever reaches us. For that reason we cannot recover lost data. Making a backup with Settings → Export before changing phones or deleting the app is your responsibility.

6. Intellectual property

The text of the Holy Qur’an and the hadith belong to everyone. The app’s design, code, translations and notes belong to Sidre. The Amiri and Amiri Quran fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; other open-source licences are listed in the app under About → Licences.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or incorrect direction or date information arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Changes

If these terms change, the current text will be published on this page with a new effective date.
