A precise Qibla compass
Your position comes from GPS (no internet) and the great-circle bearing to the Kaaba is computed on device. On Android and in the web demo, magnetic declination is corrected with NOAA's WMM2025 model. You feel a vibration when you face the Qibla.

Is it paid, are there ads?
No. Sidre has no ads and needs no account.
Does it need internet?
No. Recitations, fonts and the Qibla calculation all run on the device.
Are the recitations with tajweed?
The built-in audio is Arabic speech generated from the vowelled text; it will be replaced with qari recordings for full tajweed.
How accurate is the Hijri date?
It uses the tabular calendar and may differ by ±1 day from local moon sighting; adjustable in settings.
